«MELAS – EPIDAURUS OLIVE OIL DOMAIN» is a horizontal and vertical unit:

• • with 6 (six) privately-owned organic olive groves and privately-owned facilities within the Estate in the district of Ligourio of the Municipality of Epidaurus:
  • producing organic extra virgin olive oil, certified by the BIO HELLAS SA organization
  • producing extra virgin olive oil of Protected Designation of Origin, PDO Lygourio Asklipiou certified by AGROCERT
  • producing extra virgin olive oil of Integrated Agriculture, certified by AGROCERT
  • without a trace of carbon footprint in the environment
  • certified unit by TÜV AUSTRIA, according to HACCP – ISO 22000:2018 standard.

The mthod of cultivation of the olive trees, the methods of treatment and / or prevention of diseases, the degree of maturity of the olives, the olive harvesting, the variety, the storage of the fruit until oil extraction, the oiling conditions (cold pressed), the conditions within the storage tanks, the conditions of standardization, packaging, handling conditions, knowledge and consumer behaviour, all affect the quality factors of EVERY SINGLE teaspoon of oil consumed.
